Fabric specs
What is the composition, GSM, width and color range of this fabric?
Send the fabric reference and we share the full spec sheet: composition, GSM, width, available colors and the color card. If you have not fixed a quality yet, tell us the target weight, hand feel and end use, and we recommend two or three directions to compare.
Is it four-way stretch? How is stretch and recovery?
Our stretch knits are four-way stretch. Recovery figures are given only where we hold a test report; otherwise stretch is described qualitatively and we recommend testing a sample first. We do not publish recovery percentages as a promise.
Is it squat-proof or opaque enough for leggings?
For leggings we recommend opaque constructions such as double-sided knits. Opacity depends on color depth, GSM and how far the fabric is stretched: darker and heavier is safer, light thin qualities show more at stretched areas. Testing a sample at your target weight with a squat and strong-light check is the surest way; no absolute squat-proof guarantee is given.
Is it matte or shiny? How does it feel?
Both matte and semi-gloss finishes are available. Tell us the target hand feel — soft and fluid, dry and crisp, or firm — and we recommend matching qualities for sample comparison.
Which knitting constructions can you produce?
Rib, interlock, double knit, jacquard and mesh constructions are all possible. Construction drives stretch, opacity and hand feel, so share the target and we recommend the matching structure.
Warp knit or weft knit?
Our stretch knits are essentially weft knits. The construction of each quality is noted on its spec sheet.
What is the color fastness?
The default reference is Grade 3. If your market requires a higher grade, raise it before sampling; testing follows the standard and method agreed in the order.
Do you offer first-quality and second-quality goods?
We supply first-quality goods only. Share your target price and specification and we advise the closest feasible option rather than substituting a lower grade.
Samples
Are samples free? Who pays shipping?
Small swatches are free of charge; courier cost is prepaid by the buyer before dispatch. Door-to-door courier is arranged, and tax-inclusive delivery is available on selected routes.
How large is a sample? Can I buy 3–5 meters for prototyping?
Yes. Prototype cuts are around 3 meters per quality, charged at cut price with no MOQ restriction, and the sample fee is fully credited against a bulk order. Cut prices are confirmed per quality on the day.
Can you ship samples abroad or to my forwarder in China?
Both. We ship worldwide by courier, or to your forwarder's warehouse inside China. Share the delivery address and we confirm the shipping cost.
Can you quote an exact price from photos?
Photos only support an approximate price. For an exact quotation and an identical match, send a physical sample for the mill to analyse.
Can you put my logo on a sample? Which printing method?
Yes. Four common routes: silicone transfer (premium feel, best for waistbands, a mould fee applies and the mould is reusable on later orders), high-elastic DTF (most stable for large logos on high-stretch areas), sublimation (polyester only, not for nylon/spandex), and PU heat transfer (cheaper but prone to cracking on high-stretch areas, not recommended). Any logo must be registered and authorised for our production.
MOQ and pricing
What is the MOQ? Can I mix colors?
Bulk MOQ is 150 kg per color for custom production. For in-stock fabrics, colors can be combined to reach 150 kg in total — for example 50 kg black plus 50 kg beige plus 50 kg green.
Can I order less than 150 kg?
Accepted at a surcharge of RMB 10 per kg, though we do not recommend it: small lots carry a cost penalty, and testing with a 3-meter cut first usually works out better value before committing to bulk.
Do you quote per kg or per meter? How many meters in a kg?
Either way, depending on the quality. Meters per kg = 1000 ÷ GSM ÷ width in meters. For example, 180 GSM at 1.7 m width gives about 3.3 meters per kg.
What is your best price or container price?
Price depends on the quality, color depth, quantity and live raw-material prices. Share the specification and quantity and we quote; larger volumes price better, but no floor price is promised because raw-material costs move.
Can you make garments (OEM/ODM)? What is the garment MOQ?
Yes, through our partner garment factory on an OEM/ODM basis. Garment MOQ is 300 pieces per style per color, mixable across up to three sizes, with a pre-production sample approved before bulk.
Lead time
What is the lead time?
Sample cuts are prepared quickly once colors are confirmed. Custom dyeing takes about 10 days. Bulk lead time depends on quantity and a schedule is given once specification and quantity are fixed; a pre-production sample is approved before bulk runs.
Shipping and trade terms
Do you quote FOB or CIF? What is included?
We quote FOB Guangzhou (Nansha) or CIF to your port. FOB: we handle inland transport, export clearance and documents; you arrange sea freight and booking. CIF: we arrange freight and marine insurance; destination port charges, duties and import clearance are yours.
Do I pay duties? Can you do DDP / double clearance tax-inclusive?
On DDP courier routes, tax is included to your door. On FOB or CIF sea shipments, destination duties and import clearance are the buyer's. We provide the full export document set: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, and destination-specific documents where required.
How much is freight for a 20ft or 40ft container?
Container freight depends on the destination port and current market rates, which move a lot. Share your port and volume and we check with our forwarder for a live quote rather than quoting a fixed figure.
How can I track my shipment?
Once shipped we share the tracking number or bill of lading details, which can be tracked on the carrier's or forwarder's website.
Payment
How do I pay?
We accept Wise, XTransfer and bank transfer, including local-currency accounts where available. For bulk sea orders: 30% deposit, 70% against a copy of the bill of lading.
Can I get an invoice or receipt?
Yes. Share your company name, address, phone and tax details and we issue the invoice or receipt with our business address and phone on it.
Production and custom work
Can I visit the Guangzhou showroom? Can I see production?
You are welcome at our Guangzhou Zhongda showroom: Stalls 16-18, North 5th Street, Jiangnan Textile City, Haizhu District. Let us know one day ahead so the qualities and color cards you want are ready. Production visits can be arranged as cooperation develops.
Can you reproduce the exact same fabric on reorder?
Yes. Reorders are made to the same specification and match your approved sample. Quote the original reference and approved-sample number when reordering.
Can you make a fabric from my sample or photo?
Send a physical sample and the mill analyses and reproduces it. Photos alone support only an approximate price and cannot guarantee an identical result.
Do you supply anything besides fabric, such as zippers or finished garments?
Fabric is our specialty. Finished garments can be made through our partner factory. For accessories we can refer you to suppliers in the market rather than supply them ourselves.
